A REDEFINED PARTNERSHIP FOR THREE ESTABLISHED FIRMS
Taking the phrase "stronger together" to heart, John Madigan of Executive Talent Services, Vanessa Williams of Leading Edge Consulting, and Ken McGovern of KMR Search provide a wide range of talent management services. Their nearly 80 years of combined experience and leadership has made a meaningful impact on thousands of clients ranging from post-grads and young professionals to seasoned executives and global organizations.
Their partnership began organically and had grown over the years to such a level of symbiosis, that we felt it was time to take a more intentional approach to promoting their shared services. This designed brochure was developed to accompany a series of sales emails geared toward past and prospective clientele. Taking from the messaging and design created here, we have some other projects in the works cooperatively and individually, to better highlight their capabilities and continue to educate professionals nationwide.
WEBSITE FOR NEW ENTREPRENEUR & ETSY MAKER
This project focused on the challenges of a new maker, fighting to be seen on Etsy - the popular, maker-based retail platform. Etsy has come under fire regarding issues with a recent algorithm change. But long before these changes began to affect store traffic and sales, the platform was gaining a reputation as overcrowded, deterring many new makers from even joining.
Our work together created a beautiful, but easy to manage Squarespace website that allowed Bowties & Bows Boutique to take control of their success. The website features their beautiful, quality-made headbands, bow ties, and bodysuits for babies, with a link to their Etsy shop as the current e-commerce functionality. But the flexibility of the build allows for the transition to the Squarespace e-commerce functionality down the road.
MODERNIZATION OF A VETERAN BUSINESS
When Beth Bolton of A Little Something Bakery reached out to me to inquire about building a new website, we knew this was going to be a sweet and extraordinary project. After nine years of running a successful local bake shop, Beth wanted to take her business to the next level and felt a new website would do the trick. But we know that with every project, there is so much more beyond the initial need.
In building her a beautiful new, mobile-optimized website, we uncovered areas in her business operations that were primed for digitization and automation. So we built lead generation forms and integrated easy, inexpensive back end systems to save her hours of operating time and effort each week, organizing the influx of inquiries she is now capturing from the new site. One of the coolest features was the creation of a digital order form Beth uses every time she gets a phone inquiry (which is a lot) which port the information to a project management system automatically. These changes allow her to put valuable time back into baking the most deliciously beautiful cakes in Central CT and growing her business.
LOGO & WEB DESIGN FOR FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER
It's always a joy to work with such talented clients and our work with fine art photographer Nichole Renee was one such experience. Her work is complex and haunting, and yet organic, with a sense of innocence throughout. It was an extraordinary exercise to capture and translate her long-developed portfolio of work into a logo, look and feel that represented her personality and style and had room to evolve with her - as these things always do.
With the foundation of her logo and color story, we moved forward creating a portfolio website to help solidify her place among peers, connoisseurs, and prospective buyers.
