A LITTLE FIXER-UPPER

The “Chip and Joanna Gaines of Greater Hartford” – Mike and Nicole DiGirolamo are flipping, renovating, and investing in our region – one fixer-upper at a time.

THE GOAL:

Launch a lifestyle-focused brand that embodies the clean, bright, and sophisticated style, while reinforcing the quality of work and customer service this duo brings to every project.

THE WORK:

•Brand guidelines including a new logo, color palette, fonts, and graphics accessories

•Built a multi-page Squarespace website that is easy to navigate and two clicks to contact

•Social media templates for Instagram and Facebook

THE RESULTS:

An exciting journey ahead as the DiGirolamo’s scale from flipping to more client-based, home renovation projects.


KATE & MAGGIE: LITERACY CONSULTANTS

Leverage the treasure trove of content and a hard-earned industry reputation to pivot strategy and revenue focus toward quick and effective teacher resources.

THE GOAL:

The objective of this project was to redesign kateandmaggie.com with a more updated and polished look and to create a virtual content shop with paid membership levels for literary educators to access professional development resources.

THE RESULTS:

With a refreshed look, feel, and message to the brand materials, the content Shop is full of easy-to-use materials laid out in a user friendly manner to increase usage on the website.

The Content Shop currently has over 700 members and continues to grow since its launch in February 2023. 

We continue to work with Kate and Maggie to assist in the website upkeep, social engagement, B2B efforts, and book launch marketing strategy.

THE WORK:

  • Refresh and refine branding to re-launch an upleveled website, messaging, and expanded brand guidelines.

  • Audit and optimize all digital channels, including blog posts, social, published works, and more,  to get them working harder for themselves and their business.

  • We organized and built an online content shop of resources in various formats for teachers to access and use based on membership levels.


BRKTHRU DIGITAL

Established digital advertising firm needed to expand their marketing and sales support without taking on additional headcount.

THE GOAL:

Inject ourselves into the programs, systems and culture of the organization, acting as their outsourced marketing department.

THE WORK:

  • Take the baton of a botch brand refresh to re-launch website, messaging, expanded brand guidelines, and refresh of all assets

  • Enable sales team with brand and industry-focused materials

  • Support events and thought leadership activities nationwide

  • Develop sub-brands and associated content including Barkthru_, Brkthru_Cares, and Brkthru_ University

THE RESULTS:

With a refreshed look, feel, and message to the brand materials, the sales and client success team has been better equipped to curate and close new business, while expanding relationships with current clients.

The brand and business continue to expand as we pivot and shift our work and our team to fit their evolving needs. This has led to a 2+ year relationship that continues and grows stronger every day!

THE GOAL:

Create a new brand and digital presence through the use of a website, Zoom, and social media.

THE WORK:

•Ongoing external communication strategies – in both mass and 1:1 formats

•Produce and promote “Manufacturing Boldness” Podcast

•Management and continued upleveling of digital properties – including social media + their Squarespace website

THE RESULTS:

A long-standing, successful partnership between SBC and The Bolder Company has launched any a campaign or workshop, seamlessly and strategically shifting their marketing and business development strategies to create and meet the needs of each unique opportunity that has come their way over the last 3+ years.


FOOD + LIFESTYLE GROUP GETS A DIGITAL GLOW-UP

The local food and lifestyle gurus behind INGroup Creative + Eat In Connecticut - needed to separate their two brands to eliminate confusion and continue their growth trajectory. Our task became elevating the parent brand over the more popular child brand to promote the group’s capabilities beyond food and beverage.

The SBC team created two new Squarespace Websites - INGroupCreative.com + EatInConnecticut.com - with light, lively and complimentary styles, creating meaningful connections between the two sites to drive new business inquiries.


A REDEFINED PARTNERSHIP FOR THREE ESTABLISHED FIRMS

Taking the phrase "stronger together" to heart, John Madigan of Executive Talent Services, Vanessa Williams of Leading Edge Consulting, and Ken McGovern of KMR Search provide a wide range of talent management services. Their nearly 80 years of combined experience and leadership has made a meaningful impact on thousands of clients ranging from post-grads and young professionals to seasoned executives and global organizations. 

Their partnership began organically and had grown over the years to such a level of symbiosis, that we felt it was time to take a more intentional approach to promoting their shared services. This designed brochure was developed to accompany a series of sales emails geared toward past and prospective clientele. Taking from the messaging and design created here, we have some other projects in the works cooperatively and individually, to better highlight their capabilities and continue to educate professionals nationwide.


TAKING THE LEAD IN LOCATION

Localogy, a trade association for the location-based technology space refreshed leadership and its 20+ year old brand (formerly Local Search Association) to regain its place as the foremost leader in the space. Lofty ambitions for a lean team without a marketing department.

THE GOAL:

Seamlessly embed our team within their organization as their in-house, outsourced marketing department, focused on rebuilding marketing operations and further growing its global  member base.

THE WORK:

As their in-house team we are involved in and driving all day to day activities for the organization. Most notably we built, rolled out, and continue to work in their Hubspot CRM and Marketing Automation software to drive lead generation from its never-ending content library.

THE RESULTS:

Our work began in December 2019 and has consistently grown monthly website visits 15% month over month.

A content mix of Webinars, Whitepapers and Vodcast Channel have driven thousands of new contacts and member prospects.

Newly minted, West Hartford-based entrepreneur launches a healthy, prepared meal delivery service as a solution to her own unmet needs and dietary restrictions. In the process, she finds there is not only a market for this niche but a real following.

THE GOAL:

Develop a brand logo, look, and experience that illustrates the fresh, fun, and healthy recipes provided.

THE RESULTS:

The splash page and buzz-building campaign gathered more than 400 mailing list subscribers pre-launch, and a rapidly growing following was born.

In the midst of COVID – the business has grown to serve hundreds of customers in Central CT, two delivery days each week to accommodate demand, and a business growing so fast the biggest concern has become finding reliable drivers in a snowstorm.
